"Roma Termini"

Back on 16 September 2011, I landed at Rome Airport in Italy. My destination was Paris. At a nearby railway station window, I asked one of the customer service ladies that I wanted to go to Paris. She replied, "Sir, you have to go to Roma Termini where you can buy a ticket for Paris." She gave me a ticket for Roma Termini Rail Station so I could start my next journey to Paris. I rushed to my seat to start my journey towards Roma Termini. Unfortunately, the train stopped multiple times due to some problems. The train from Roma Termini to Paris was scheduled for 7:00 PM. Luckily, when I reached the station, the train to Paris was making its final boarding call. I grabbed my luggage and started running towards the Paris train. In Italy, they call Paris "Paghi." Just in time, I got on the Paris train and settled comfortably in my cabin with a guy from the Middle East.

Relief washed over me as I boarded the train, finally embarking on the first leg of my international adventure. With a mix of excitement and nervousness, I settled into my seat, eager to witness the changing landscapes as I journeyed from Italy to France.

A Toast to Paris!

After a scenic train ride, I arrived safely and soundly in the City of Lights - Paris! Stepping off the train at Gare de Lyon, the main railway station, I felt a greatest achievement. My first international trip, complete with its unexpected delays, had been a success.I will write blog on Paris in future. Here are a few pictures I captured during my exciting journey:
